I'm puzzled as to why BBC's technologist Laura Ellis says 'she can't comment via my blog' in the matter of online investment v local/regional radio, so in fairness to her and readers, I'll republish her Tweets. These came in response to my post 'Off The Rails'.
Unfortunately I can’t comment via your blog on the BBC England story on which you feature my tweet so I’ll do it here. First, I could hardly be said to have an ‘aversion’ to multi skilling having run two of the BBCs most multi skilled newsrooms as a TV and Radio editor

Thirdly, I prefer to see myself as ‘additionally trained’ rather than re trained. I’m still quite a good journalist 😄😄 I just get technology too.
