Some readers are puzzled about how finance works in radio at BBC Northern Ireland. Radio Foyle (former boss Larry Deeney) loses a two hour breakfast show, substituted with a half hour local update from Monday. Radio Ulster (boss Larry Deeney) gains a 90 minute 6pm show, using two presenters, replacing a ragbag of sport, farming and Irish music output.
