Government funded media ? Media frit of Government ? Media leant on occasionally by Government ?? Twitter executives have opted for the former tag to add to the main BBC Twitter account, and there'll be a pretty fruitless debate about it for some time.
Twitter so far has only 'explained' its label 'state-affiliated', and the BBC will have been pleased to avoid that. Will it be bothered to fight for 'Majority Funding Level Set By Government' ?
