Two thoughts. BBC News managers have no clear vision for the future, and nobody proof reads adverts.
The BBC is advertising for an Executive News Editor, Growth, Delivery and Social. Having read the whole advert, I'm no clearer what that means, what the task entails, or indeed, why it should be based in Cardiff. It took me a while a get past a number of errors, including the use of 'executive' as a verb.
'It is the most news brand in the world.'
'The role is a rare opening at senior leader level, sitting in the leadership team that spearhead the digital transformation of BBC News under Digital Director Naja Nielsen.'
'The job remit is focused on data-driven growth, social media and how we executive and deliver our digital strategy, working closely with leaders in other areas of the BBC.'
