A dogged Freedom of Information seeker has been trying to get notes, etc, from media meetings held by the former Culture Secretary, Nadine Dorries.
He's got knocked back on a January meeting involving Nadine, Tim Davie and Richard Sharp, and again on a March meeting with Nads, Dawn Airey and Alex Mahon. Civil servants argue that, though there are minutes, releasing them would damage 'safe space' for ministerial discussions.
What's odd is that in response to a third request, for full copies of all minutes, agendas, action logs and briefing materials for the meeting between Nadine Dorries and Robbie Gibb held in March, the response is bald: "The department holds no information in regard to this question".
The seeker-of-truth has asked for an internal review.
