David Dimbleby was very certain that the two corgis on parade at Windsor were called Sandy and Mick - names perhaps more appropriate for pets of the fictional Royle family.
Mick is spelt Muick, after the Loch on the Balmoral Estate. Pronunciation guides say 'Mick' is alright, though some suggest Mech, but if you go Gaelic, there's a much wider range of vowels involved - Mooick.
