Churn continues at BBC Drama commissioning, first spotted by Broadcast. Unsurprisingly, acting Director Ben Irving is off, having been beaten to the permanent role by Lindsay Salt from Netflix UK. Ben is to join international production company Fifth Season, formerly Endeavour, as Creative Director UK.
Also off is Head of Drama Development, Tom Lazenby, who only joined in 2019 from Raw TV. Amanda 'Manda' Levin, perhaps one of the most experienced executives in the current team, is another leaver.
