The BBC seems to have taken a shine to 'leaders as brands'. Edwin 'Eddy' Datubo has been Director of Operations and Transformation since April. His previous employers include Tullow Oil and Neptune Energy. Some of his learning about transformation comes from an MBA at Cranfield; other stuff, he says, from semi-professional football. For a time, he was Assistant Manager for his son's team at St Albans City Youth.
He does seem to like a sharp suit.
