Radio 4 diehards are wondering if there's a new turbo-charged repeat policy. Big brain Matthew Syed yesterday launched a new series of Sideways, at 9am. And, whoosh, there it was again at 4pm.
Previous same-day repeat strategies included edited re-runs of Start The Week in the evening, on the grounds that people at work could have a chance to catch up. Now stay-at-homes get two chances at the same show before the wage-earners return home - and some of them aren't happy.
