Whilst the New Year launch of TalkTV might be getting more media attention, the BBC is beavering away at bringing back BBC3 as linear channel - and BBC News will feature, in some shape or form, to bring some much needed public service content.
But will it be in the style of the campest BBC News offering, Liquid News, a daily entertainment news show which evolved from Zero 30 on News 24 (named for its 1230am time slot) and eventually made the transition from BBC Choice to BBC3 ? Or the snappy summary service 60 Seconds, which survived until the linear end of BBC3 in February, with main presenter Sam Naz ? It was produced by Nicky Schiller for 15 years...
