CNN in the stream

CNN seems to betting at least part of the bank on streaming.  Reports from the States talk about recruiting 200 journalists, and developing CNN+ ,  a subscription service that will sit "side by side with CNN’s existing television networks and will feature eight to twelve hours of live programming a day.” 

In this country, there'll be CNN Live, a stream costing £1.99 a month or £19.90 a year, launching on 1st September. It looks like CNN Original will stay 'free'  to Sky subscribers, but at the moment it looks like it's leaving Freesat and perhaps Virgin Media.
