Former Newsnight editor and guitarist Peter Barron has resurfaced in exalted company.
Barron spent ten years from 2008 in comms for Google in Europe, then 'retired', with leisure interests in Extremadura. He's joined Stripe, a growing online platform for taking card payments. Customers include Google, Amazon, Spotify, Deliveroo, ASOS and booking.com. Last week Mark Carney, former Governor of the Bank of England and the Bank of Canada, joined the company’s board of directors.
