In theory, Kay Burley should return to our screens on Sky News sometime in May, after her six month suspension for busting Covid guidelines. But there's a good chance she'll come back sooner - with one of the two new fledgling 'news' broadcasters.
Kay's back on Twitter, promoting The Sun's Jabs Army. She's a mate of Rebekah Brooks, and a long-time chum of long-time News International consigliere, Les Hinton. News UK have yet to announce a female member of their online channel presentation team.
Kay's Breakfast offering at Sky has yet to break into the channel's weekly Top 15 with her at the helm. In the most recent week of consolidated viewing figures, her stand-in Niall Paterson edged in at No 15.
