A new editor to work with Evan Davis at PM on Radio 4: Natasha Shallice (PPE, Wadham, Oxford) comes from Newsnight, and was previously deputy editor of Peston on Sunday. At ITN she helped develop The Agenda with Tom Bradby, and in a previous spell at the BBC had been with Working Lunch, The Daily Politics, Today and This Week. Early experience includes a spell as a researcher for Breakfast with Frost; and working with Tony Benn on a series of BBC debates with William Hague, which he refused to have called "Bill and Benn". Before that, she had a book review in The Guardian. Dad is Tariq Ali.
