The T20 cricket match between England and Pakistan, shown live on both BBC1 and Sky, attracted a healthy average audience of 2.1m over the four and a half hour broadcast. The BBC1 average was 1.7m, which was a 17.3% share of the available tv audience at the time. It was the first sighting of live cricket on the BBC for 21 years.
