Just a week after her last show at Radio 1Xtra, Dotty aka Ashley Charles has emerged as a presenter on Apple station Beats1 and "Lead Cultural Curator" for Apple Music.
The service started in 2015, with the poaching of Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe and four Radio 1 producers. Radio 1's Head of Music at the time, George Ergatoudis described Apple as a "huge disruptive monster". In 2018, George joined Apple as Head of Music for the UK and Ireland. Later that year he was followed by Radio 1Xtra Editor Ryan Newman, and then DJ Charlie Sloth.
