Mogul

We look forward to more funny names on the end credits of our biggest tv shows, with the reverse takeover of Endemol Shine by Banijay, run by Frenchman Stephane Courbit, 55 (A technology diploma from IUT Valence and ISG Business School). Stephane formed his company in 2008 (with interesting investors), and now boasts it's "the world's largest independent content creation Group for television and multimedia platforms." That's probably true outside the USA. Vivendi holds a 36% stake in Banijay.

Super-cool Stephane owns luxury hotels in Courchevel, St Tropez and Bastides through his LOV group (from the names of his children, Lila, Oscar and Vanille.). Other LOV interests include online gambling operations BetClic, bet-at-home.com, Everest, Expekt and MonteCarlo Casino.

Stephane has turned to the super-cool Peter Salmon, 64, (St Theodore's High School and Warwick University) to run Banijay's operations in the UK as executive chairman.
