Faron

Congratulations to Faron McKenzie, who moves from marketing Radio 1Xtra to running the whole thing. 

You get a glimpse of him here, introducing Day 2 of June Sarpong's CDX, which he organised. He has a degree in marketing from the University of North London.

His first foray into the music business was forming M&M Productions and Funktastique Records in 2000, backing Lost Connection, now completely lost.

He used to manage Jermaine Riley (formerly lead singer of Fundamental, and dubbed "Britain's answer to Usher").  He was once married to model Jordan Paris Daniels, who later became a girl-friend of Russell Brand.
