I say “Hello, this is Allan Little in Najaf for the Six”. London producer says to editor “Adam Nicol says he’s got enough for the Six”.
Radio producer in London: “I can hear someone on a manual typewriter in the background. Can you ask them to stop?” Me: “It’s a machine gun.”
Today prog producer in London: “Justin Webb’s just been caught in shelling on Breakfast News. Very dramatic. Could we have something similar from you?”
