The possibility that I'm A Celebrity moves to Gwrych Castle in North Wales for the 2020 season is a hoot. It's a broken-down pretend-castle from the 19th Century, stripped of value over the years by various 'developers', and now in the hands of a trust with little funding. They bought it in 2018 for just £600k, with the help of a National Lottery grant.
I'm guessing that another trust will benefit from ITV's investment. The National Trust now owns and operates posh Bodysgallen Hall, near Llandudno - the most likely venue for Ant and Dec's base. The crew can probably make do with fewer stars in Rhyl and Llandudno proper.
It may also be advisable for ITV to lease a chopper - the A55 can bung up at the drop of a hat.
