Uncomfortable

Grim days ahead for the BBC. We've had the adjusted cuts needed to keep BBC Scotland, Wales/Cymru, Northern Ireland and England on target for this financial year.

In News we were told the target was 450 jobs back in January; we await a new, post-Covid-peak total, and my guess is it'll now be around 550. And new targets for Radio & Education, and BBC Studios, and other bits.

If we can get through that, we head inexorably to the publication of the Annual Report, to cheer all those now under risk of redundancy with exciting news of those paid over £150k. Welcome to the front line, Mr Davie.
