I think Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden will be hoping for diversity bonus points in finding a new Chair for the BBC, despite the ho-hum performance of Rona Fairhead over three years in the role.
Who might he ring up ?
Carolyn Fairbairn, 59, has just stepped down from the CBI. She has previous experience with the BBC, and owns a nice hotel in Provence that would be ideal for awaydays.
Dame Dianne Thompson, 69, plain-speaking former CEO of Camelot, was said to be a candidate last time round.
Baroness Bull, 57 - ballet dancer Deborah Bull - sits as a crossbencher, and has been slowly widening her management experience.
Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho, 47 - as Martha, she founded lastminute.com, and is currently on the board of Twitter.
More as it comes in....
