Production teams on BBC's threatened weekly regional strand Inside Out will be raising eyebrows at new commissions from BBC England. In W1A-speak, they are "focusing commissioning spend on a broader slate and collaborations aimed at young audiences".
The new programmes, which may or may not get an outing on BBC1, include a four-part series on young wrestlers from Norwich, four editions of "Street to Catwalk" featuring the work of a model agency (made by ITV Studios), "Spitting Out Fire", a documentary on young jazzers, made by LA Productions, and a second series of Angels of The North, following the work of hair extension specialists.
