Late news in your area

Apropos of nothing, in August 1966, Mick Jagger's Aston Martin DB6 was in collision with either a Kraft Foods delivery vehicle, or the Countess of Carlisle's Ford Anglia, depending on whose account you trust. The accident happened on Great Titchfield Street W1, just north of the Crown and Sceptre.

Mick's passenger was girlfriend Chrissie Shrimpton; they were returning to Mick's mansion flat at Harley House, on the north side of Marylebone Road. Later Mr Jagger said "I'd only had it for three weeks. It cost me £200 to have it fixed".
