Technocrat Matthew Gould, CEO of NHSX, self-defined 'father and husband, incompetent show jumper', is maintaining a Twitter silence on his contact tracing app. He explained how it all would work on April 24th, and shared the app's code on May 8th.
Geraint Lewis, the 'public health doctor' leading on development of the app, hasn't mentioned it since May 20th.

All there one month ago by BBC Radio Solent - phones needed to have the capability of running Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and to be running either Apple ios 11 upwards or Android 8 upwards - ie most older smartphones will not work with this app
