BBC Northern Ireland will have to close an additional 30 to 40 posts to make £3.6m in savings from its annual budget of £56m by the end of March 2021.
Director of Northern Ireland Peter Johnston yesterday made an appeal for volunteers; his division currently has 650 staff.
