The Government's Covid-19 tracking and tracing app is to undergo rigorous testing - on the Isle of Wight. So far there have been 28 confirmed coronavirus deaths on the island (out of a population of just over 141,000).
The Office of National Statistics puts the age-adjusted Covid-19 death rate there at 9 per 100,000, with deaths from all causes at 100 per 100,000. This compares with Newham's figures of 144 per 100,000, with all deaths at 299 per 100,000.
Newham has a population of 350,000, seven tube stations, and 16 DLR stations. The Isle of Wight has the Island Line, from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin, running at one train an hour during the epidemic.
I wonder if Isle of Wight resident David Icke will be allowed the app ?
