I'm reluctant to have a pop at editorial judgements when I don't understand all the pressures. However, if it was deliberate that mention of the death of Tim Brooke-Taylor should last just 25 seconds in a 25 minute bulletin on BBC1 last night, and that the only sound clip has him saying just two words, "The Goodies", that was a misjudgement.
Tim first appeared on the BBC 56 years ago, and has barely been off radio ever since.
