Paul Lambert RIP

The number and warmth of Twitter tributes to Paul 'Gobby' Lambert, the BBC Westminster producer whose stock-in-trade was shouting sharp questions at politicians from behind police barriers, is remarkable. He got very few answers, but secured thousands of glances towards the cameras adjacent to his booming voice. The footage delivered by this fearless foot-soldier of politics is woven into the media history of this country over more than 15 years, til he departed the BBC in 2014.

Paul has died, aged 61.
