A whiff of managerial anxiety at the BBC, where programming, if constrained, is remarkably continuing on all networks, while 90% of staff are working from home. The rolling wave of pay sacrifice is moving relentlessly towards them - coming closest at Channel 4, where executives are expected to take a 20% cut 'temporarily'.
Of course, the BBC is different, with a draining level of command and control being exercised at Gold, Silver, Bronze and Cupro-Nickel Zoom meetings, where presenteeism is the main thing, and sensible decision-making quite another. Wouldn't be surprised if some senior managers are seeking overtime.....
