BBC staff were treated to a second online edition of Worker's Playtime last Thursday, to break up their feverish hours of home-working. Once again, Bob Shennan was the main host, featuring his now favourite section, All Your Workplace Queries Answered. He came close to putting the 'For Sale' boards up on a number of properties - perhaps someone kicked him under the table to remind him that the BBC doesn't have a significant freehold left.
Lord Hall, preparing for his next career move, took the lead on heartwarming interviews with brilliant Fergus Walsh and brilliant Graham Norton (whose company made £2.3m on £16m revenue in their last disclosed year - and that's after they'd paid Graham his director and presenting fees). I wonder how So Television and the BBC are splitting the reduced production costs of the re-imagined tv chat show....
