Awesomeness and Waterfalls

BBC Studios have lighted upon Rebecca Glashow to fill the vacancy as President, BBC Studios, Americas. She boasts a BA in History from Brown University. But just look where she's come from....

"Most recently, Glashow was the Co-Head of Awesomeness, a division of Viacom and leading entertainment brand focused on Gen Z, where she led all business operations and revenue including sales, marketing, research, distribution, and production. Prior to her role as Co-Head, Glashow was the Chief Strategy and Distribution Officer, where she oversaw global distribution, studio operations, and business development. Before joining Awesomeness, Glashow held various leadership roles at Discovery Communications, Comcast and InDemand."

If you think that's impenetrable, try Rebecca's husband, Dean Schaffer; they married in 2008, and got written up in the New York Times.

Dean is "Principal and Head of Strategy & Development at IEA. IEA is global leader in providing waterfall and carried interest solutions to the Private Equity industry. IEA was founded in 2000, is headquartered in New York and solely focuses on providing technology solutions to complex waterfall needs of leading private equity firms."
