While whispers of impending cuts at BBC News, including The Victoria Derbyshire Show, were swirling around in the UK, the outgoing DG Lord Hall was displaying his interviewing skills in Davos, gushing over Chinese transgender ballet/tv star Jin Xing. It would be interesting to compare audience figures - there were less than 100 live in Davos, but, like Victoria, it's possible Tony did better in the online world.
