Inactivity

Just a thought.

The BBC has stopped trying to introduce performance-related pay for most of its 21,000 staff. But it does find time to review employees' salaries every year, looking at what band/grade they're on, what increments might be appropriate etc.

Yet, under Jana Bennett, George Entwistle, Danny Cohen and Charlotte Moore, as Directors of Television, Vision, Content, etc, nobody seems to have written down each year what BBC1 presenters were being paid and assessed whether or not they were still worth it.  Or at least, not in a form that could be presented in a tribunal.
