Some of our favourite tv news presenters are in for a twitchy time - BBC News is looking to cull six.

I'm not sure if this is a definitive list - some maybe on either freelance or limited days contracts - but even so, six is quite a big number to take out - I make it 30%.  Kamal Ahmed, the Man Who Comes To Work In A Tee-Shirt Cos He's Not On Screen Anymore, has been appointed head of consolation.
