Paul Wooding in The Sun on Sunday has an 'exclusive'. He says Boris Johnson is working hard to thrash out a solution that so elderly viewers won't have to pay for their TV licences.
“This needs sorting out urgently and I’ll be talking to the BBC about how to sort that out....It's crucial we do this.”
Ten days ago, he had a different tone. Mr Wooding says the Conservatives want to include the free licence pledge in the party's manifesto.
