How not to

Occasionally, there is a welcome drive for plain speaking in BBC News, and I'm sure some will be pleased with the headline to a new section of the News website: "Who should I vote for? General election 2019 policy guide".

I hope the first sentence is removed quite quickly.  However complex and detailed the interactive guide beneath the headline may be, there are personal factors in all elections that involve issues of slight nuance through to full holding-your-nose ahead of making a mark. It's presumptive,  patronising and downright risky to suggest ten minutes on a website can sort this out.
