No obvious commissioner credits for an Alan Yentob special on BBC1 this Wednesday after the late news - remember, that's the BBC3 youth zone. So youthful that the documentary is about the oldest-known survivor of Nazi concentration camps.
The programme is a Fishercat production, featuring the work of cameraman/director James Nutt, who worked with Alan on Mel Brooks and Jay-Z shows; the producer is Marc Ramsay, who left BBC full-time employment in 2012. I'm sure the process of getting this programme to air was rigorous and transparent.
