Catch-up service

Finally, a dump of outstanding minutes from the BBC Board.

The 3rd June meeting was devoted to approving the BBC means-testing free licences for the Over 75s - not exactly the Corporation's special skill. Unanimous, but skill risky.

The 10th June meeting was largely to amend and sign off the Annual Report - most members on the phone.

We don't know what happened at the 20th June meeting, because they've duplicated the 10th June meeting minutes.

The July meeting heard news of extended Foreign Office funding for the "World 2020" project for World Service, with payments coming through for an extra six months, right up to the end of September 2020.  By my calculations, that's worth an additional £42.5m.  "Staff were continuing to work with Government officials on the broader funding proposals."
