One of the long-standing practices in live radio current affairs programmes is that the presenter/presenters face the glass window to the control cubicle, where sit producers, editors and sound engineers. This allows nods, hand gestures, and frantic waving to be exchanged between both parties, without the knowledge of the listener. This practice has been dropped for the bi-media version of Brexitcast, with those in the cubicle left to look adoringly at Laura Kuenssberg's back.
