Crass

It's now fully 26 hours since Matthew Moore of The Times had access to a BBC Executive Complaints Unit decision on BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty's unremarkable statement about a Trump tweet. The adjudication is still not available.

A BBC spokesman has told BBC News that "while Ms Munchetty was entitled to give a personal response to the phrase 'go back to your own country' as it was rooted in her own experience, overall her comments went beyond what the guidelines allow for".

I hope the written rationale is phrased with better grammar. For heaven's sake, publish the whole thing quick, ideally signed by those who've made the judgement. As it stands, it looks crass, and most will be on Piers Morgan's side.
