Must be time for a lie-down for BBC News executive Malcolm Balen. He's reported to have written a briefing on Islam. Will it be shared more widely ?
In 2004 he wrote a report on coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, still secret. Lawyer Steven Sugar spent years trying to force the BBC to publish; he died in 2011. His widow, Fiona Paveley continued the case but lost at the Supreme Court in 2012.
Another burden has been lifted from Malcolm's shoulders; according to John Humphrys, Mr Balen had to check all copy the former Today presenter submitted for publication in the Mail.
