The beak is back

"Hi everyone", says BBC Director of Radio & Education James Purnell. He's back from hols, and wants to thank everyone who's worked through August, in a missive that springs effortlessly from the BBC manual of best-practice two-way-conversation internal communications staff engagement.

All are encouraged to join a Radio & Music All Hands Meeting next week, in person in the Learning Zone, or "via the dial in". "We'll be hearing from Jonathan (Jonno) Wall, Controller BBC Sounds about his first couple of weeks with the team." Maybe someone will ask him what his budget is, and where it's come from...
