Ideas man

News from the Olympic Park and the annual report of the London Legacy Development Corporation. "The ArcelorMittal Orbit, which includes the World’s longest tunnel slide continues to be an important and unique visitor attraction for London."

The 2018/2019 visitor target of 180,000 was missed; only 155,000 paid over the year. The structure cost £22.5m to build; £19.2m was provided by Lakshmi Mittal - £9.2m of that was in the form of a loan, and, with interest, that loan now stands at £13m. The slide cost an additional £3.1m, but I can't find out how that was funded.  The whole structure is now 'valued' at £4.8m.

Whose idea was it ?
