The Queen's Park (London NW6) Book Festival at the end of June features an outing for local author Kate Weinberg as she builds up to the launch of her first novel, The Truants. Husband James Harding is on the next day, talking about New Media for a New Age, to be grilled by Matthew D'Ancona (old Evening Standard buddy of Sarah Sands, brought to R4 Today by Mr Harding.)
There are a number of BBC connections - Health Editor Hugh Pym chairs two sessions, including one featuring former BBC Sports Editor, Mihir Bose; former BBC Comedy chief Jon Plowman plugs his book 'How to Produce Comedy Bronze'; and former BBC disc-jockey Simon Mayo talks about radio and books.
