Oops. James Purnell, BBC Director of Radio and Education has lost his Director of Radio, Bob Shennan, and, this afternoon, his Director of Education, Sinead Rocks.
Sinead's off from her base in Salford Quays, to be the new Managing Director, Nations and Regions, Channel 4, probably based in Leeds. She'll report to the Channel's Chief Commercial Officer, Jonathan Allan, and gets to attend executive meetings.
Despite being Head of Learning, and then Education, since 2014, Sinead (Dominican College Fortwilliam and Queen's Belfast) has never broken through the £150k salary publication ceiling, which is odd for an organisation whose oldest mantra is Inform, Educate and Entertain.
