"Spurned wife" stories can be tricky. I was rather surprised BBC News piled into the news of the woman detained in Dubai for likening her ex-husband's new wife to a horse. Was there a sort of groupthink going on that says: come off your high horses, you antiquarian Arab states, having a go on Facebook is part of the modern, rough and tumble of the free-thinking world, and you need to get used to it fast.
The Daily Mail has the 'horse's' side of the story this morning and it changes the perspective more than a bit. How soon will BBC News update their version ?
