Treasuring

A top name added to the annual one-day Radio Festival at the British Library on May 13.

James Purnell, the BBC’s Director of Radio & Education, "will share his thoughts on the importance of treasuring radio amidst significant change in the industry and in people’s listening habits, and how the BBC hopes to build new generations of audio fans."

Last week, BBC radio production management was still trying to close down its list of 50 volunteers for redundancy.
