Turn-round specialist

The Webby Awards have been going for 22 years, and bits of BBC News Online have been winning stuff for most of those. This year, they have to make do with one nomination - for some of their 'long-reads'.(George Osborne would have argued, and probably still does, that these features should be the preserve of newspaper websites).

The big winner this year is National Geographic, with 26 separate awards, including the first-ever 'Media Company of the Year and Best Homepage. Former digital saviour of the Telegraph Jason Seiken hints he's been helping them with a little light consultancy from his new venture, QCatalyst.
