It may have been a quite expensive short-sleeved black t-shirt, but Alan Yentob looked more like scene-shifter than guest at the opening party for the 'new' Royal Academy yesterday. I hope to bring you photographic evidence later.
The 'new' bits are a link between the Piccadilly and Burlington Gardens galleries, a new lecture theatre, and more space for the Royal Academy Schools.
